Depspec is a small program written in Python that allows you to view a Binaries Dependencies (and symbols that it exports/imports from deps), currently it supports ELF (via marienz'es elf.py) and PE (via. diSlib64). also planned is UT package files (using the parser I wrote) and while it's not really a binary format gentoo ebuilds.

Depspec is highly modeled after [http://www.dependencywalker.com/ Dependency Walker], and was initially made as a linux-compatable alternative to it, however currently it doesn't have all the features and doesn't integrate in windows as well as dependency walker (would like to fill out most of the features, but some things (symbol demangling fex.) are a bit hard).

You Can Download Depspec from the subversion repository [http://tfkyle.dyndns.org/svn/depspec/trunk/ here], it requires [http://python.org Python] (2.5+), [http://gtk.org Gtk+], [http://pygtk.org PyGtk], [http://www.pkgcore.org/trac/pkgcore/browser?rev=%3Asnakeoil snakeoil] and [http://tfkyle.dyndns.org/svn/tfplib/trunk/ tfplib] (in windows [http://sourceforge.net/projects/pywin32/ pywin32] is also required), currently it needs gtk, however in the future I intend to make a frontend using Qt atleast.

if you're using gentoo there's ebuilds for tfplib and depspec in my overlay at http://tfkyle.dyndns.org/svn/ebuilds/projects/ (you can svn co that and then add the dir to PORTDIR_OVERLAY in /etc/make.conf).

if you're using windows and don't have Python, Gtk, etc. there's an oldish standalone version [http://selene.tfkyle.dyndns.org/~kyle/Temp/depspec.rar here], just unrar and run depspec/depspec.exe
